Camino de Santiago: Triascatela a Barbadelo pasando por Sarria ⎮ Ruta San Xil

On this stage of the French Way of the Camino de Santiago, we follow the alternative route through San Xil, from Triascatela to Barbadelo, passing through Sarria and traversing some of the most beautiful landscapes in Galicia. Along the way, we pass through small villages and towns steeped in history and tradition, such as A Balsa, Montán, Burela, Pintín, Aguiada, and Sarria, where approximately 25% of pilgrims begin their Camino de Santiago journey due to the final 100 km required to obtain the Compostela certificate. The route continues through Galician forests, along rural roads, and along peaceful paths until we reach Vilei and finally Barbadelo, one of the most emblematic places on the French Way.
