Springfield Campground USACE

This video is intended to compliment the Army Corp of Engineers website campground information. The information on their website about each campsite is useful in choosing a site and their pictures are good, but not always the best view. I have found a ride through the sites on a bicycle to be helpful. I spent the weekend at Springfield Campground on one of the last weekends they were open in 2020. The campground was fairly busy, so I missed riding through lots of the sites, but I think you can still get a pretty good feel for what the sites are like. Unfortunately, the removal of most of the mature pine trees from the campground in early 2019 has left the place looking a little rough. The sites are in order, so you can skip to the ones you want to see. I hope this helps.
