Treffert Center: A Conversation with Temple Grandin, PhD
Prior to the Ninth Annual Treffert Lecture Series at Marian University, renowned author and autism expert, Dr. Temple Grandin, sat down with Dr. Darold Treffert, Director of Research at Agnesian HealthCare's Treffert Center. Dr. Treffert has been studying autism and Savant syndrome for more than 40 years. His work has been published in several journals, including his most recently published book, “Islands of Genius: The Bountiful Mind of the Autistic, Acquired and Sudden Savant.” Dr. Treffert currently serves on the Marian University Board of Trustees and is actively involved in the Fond du Lac community.
