Welcome to Tortuguero National Park in northwestern Costa Rica on the Caribbean coast, where you can find green, leatherback, or hawksbill sea turtles depending on the time of year you visit! The only two ways to get to Tortuguero are by boat or small plane, although the latter is the most expensive option. There are plenty of accommodations for all budgets. We stayed at a mid-range hotel, which I show you in the video, the Tortuguero Beach Front, right in the center of town and close to everything. We booked the turtle tour and the canoe tour with Tuanis Tour, and both cost us around 75 euros. It's highly recommended to spend about two days in Tortuguero, and if you can stay longer, even better! Tortuguero is known as the Amazon of Costa Rica, and it truly is!
