4x4 & Swimming @ Appin

A great 4WD trip to Appin New South Wales Australia with a great bunch of people on one of the hottest summer days in Australia. The temperature that day reached 42°C (108°F). The highlight of this trip was the jumping and swimming in the waterhole at 14:43. This trail is classed as medium difficulty, but can be made into a hardcore or extreme 4x4 difficulty one, if wanted. The lineup included seven 4WD vehicles of various popular 4x4 brands: • black JK Jeep Wrangler on 3" lift and beadlocked 37" Nitto Mud Grappler tyres; • silver "monster truck" looking Nissan Patrol Y61 on 8" lift and 40" sticky Maxxis Trepadors on Procomp alloy beadlocked rims; • white, twin locked Toyota Hilux N60 on a 2" lift and 31" tyres; • red, twin locked, Toyota Land Cruiser LC80 on 5" lift and 35" Silverstone Extreme MT-117 tyres; • green, twin locked Land Rover 110 County (Defender) on 33" BFG KM2 tyres; • silver, twin locked Suzuki Vitara on a 2" lift and 31s; • white, rear locked Nissan Patrol Y61 GU ZD30 on 35s.
