Step Up for Wildlife | Help Secure the Future of Wildlife Rehabilitation in Western Australia

Every year, Western Australia's wildlife rehabilitation sector cares for more than 21,000 sick, injured and orphaned native animals, responds to around 45,000 calls for help, and contributes more than 250,000 volunteer hours. Despite providing an essential service to our community, wildlife and environment, the sector receives little to no ongoing operational funding from the State Government. The Wildlife Rehabilitation Advisory Group of Western Australia (WRAGWA) is calling on all Western Australians to Step Up for Wildlife and help secure a sustainable future for wildlife rehabilitation. Here's how you can help: · Sign the petition. · Write to your local MP, the Minister for Environment or the Treasurer using our downloadable templates. · Display our campaign poster at your workplace, school or community. · Share this campaign with your family, friends and colleagues. Together, we can ensure that wildlife rehabilitators and volunteers are there when our native wildlife needs them most. Visit www.wragwa.org/step-up-for-wildlife to get involved today.
