The one who leads the way in the flourishing Dharma, prospering and continuing to thrive to this day, I speak of his supreme merit, bestowing blessings upon all people, free from defilement and evil. The Great Lord Luechai, like a radiant light of Dharma, a precious and auspicious light, a sacred object that has been protected by the people for a long time… (Long Khong) I invoke the abundant blessings and auspiciousness, supported by the Buddha's virtues, granting refuge and blessings to all who seek him. The descendant of the Lord Buddha. Beautiful and supreme, the Buddhist faithful humbly offer their devotion. The merit of the Great Lord Luechai protects and averts danger, bestowing auspicious blessings. Like a guiding light of Dharma, leading the way in the religion without interruption, now I speak of him. I bow my head in reverence to all, clasping my hands together with garlands, offering worship to the Great Lord Luechai… (Sri Kotaboon) In ancient times, there were three brothers of Laotian descent who established themselves… With unwavering devotion to Buddhism, the intention was to create these sacred images. For example, this ceremony was held to invite the deities to descend to earth to protect and safeguard, so that no harm or displeasure would befall them. One person created the Phra Lao image, another the Phra Lue image, and yet another created the Phra Roj image. The entire process was completed, perfectly matching the original images, as intended in the creation of these Buddha statues. Now, let's talk about the Phra Lue image, revered by people of many eras, continuously restored. It is known to have been made of clay, coated with burnt seashells, and the large Buddha image covered externally with cement. It is beautifully crafted in the style of Laotian-Lan Xang art, in the Maravijaya posture, and has undergone continuous restoration. Since the year 2360 (Buddhist Era), Luang Pho Bandit Tumtaow, Luang Muen Chanochit, and villagers from all directions flocked to support and contribute. At that time, the restoration was completed, truly beautiful, as expected from all the faithful. We humbly offer our prayers, wishing all of us, his descendants, well-being and prosperity. Within the beautiful temple, the exquisite art enshrines the Buddha image. Its fame spreads throughout the world, a powerful and potent force in the region. The single door shines brightly, its power of merit supporting and revering the people of the town and village. In this land, five powerful forces stand as a beacon / With immense and sacred power and blessings *Wat Amnat, Ban Amnat, Tambon Amnat, Amphoe Lue Amnat, in the Amnat Charoen region, auspiciously blessed in every way, as if five powerful forces are protecting and safeguarding… (Isan Mahori) Praise is given to the revered Sangha, whose virtues are remembered and preserved. Religious practices and Vipassana meditation uphold the value of the religion, enduring far and wide. In the present time, he oversees the temple, which flourishes beautifully throughout the region. Luang Pho Phra Khru Siri Silawat is the abbot, developing and building it, and holds the position of Provincial Chief Monk. He has continuously nurtured the temple, diligently caring for and maintaining it without sorrow. He governs the monastic community, assists lay people in all matters, and serves as a role model in temple construction and a refuge for disciples throughout Amnat Charoen. He never lacks, always providing support. With abundant wisdom, he carefully observes and adheres to traditions. Phra Khru Priyatichayanusit, the deputy abbot, provides support and guidance in all aspects, assisting the abbot, Luang Pho Phra Khru. He is truly dedicated to his work. *Phra Maha Witoon Inthapanyo, the monk who oversees the entire temple, is truly admirable and enduring. As the assistant abbot, he diligently oversees the work, earning the admiration and respect of all. His merit and virtue are praised for, supporting and assisting the Buddhist religion.
