Progressions for iOS - Getting Started
This is the first in a series of tutorial videos for Progressions for iOS. This tutorial uses AUM as a host and explains how to load the plugin and route MIDI to external instruments. It covers how to generate chord sequences using the Complexity Levels and Freedom settings. It explains how to convert open chords into closed chords, as well as how to change the voicings. We discuss how to edit a chord and create chord substitutions. I also demo how to use the Harmonize options and how to sync data across multiple instances. NOTE: Simply for the sake of completeness of this tutorial series, I do go over several features shown in the preview video, in slightly more detail. If you want to learn more about the theory behind Progrsssions please checkout this paper by David Collett who help work with me on this app. https://www.dropbox.com/s/cx0lqc6ky68...
