The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against the Israeli government's use of its rhetoric to engineer plans for the extermination and displacement of the Palestinian people in the West Bank. In a statement, the ministry said that the occupation's narratives are intended to justify imposing further sieges and closures on Palestinian villages, towns, and refugee camps, and to accelerate settlement construction. Meanwhile, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) mourned the martyrs in the village of Tell, near Nablus, and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded. The movement affirmed that what occurred was a summary execution and a new war crime added to the occupation's bloody record against the Palestinian people.
