Mokshya by Purnata Mohanty
Indian philosophy expounds that all human activities tend towards salvation. Moksha literally means ‘salvation’. The pure dance of ecstasy that liberates the dancer towards this goal is known as Moksha Nata. This is a fast-pace rhythmic dance which concludes the programme. This is followed by a Sanskrit prayer Shantivanee. Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah - Let everyone be happy and cheerful. Sarve Bhavantu Niramayah - Let everyone be healthy. Sarve Bhadrani Pashyantu - Let everyone perceive noble thought. Maa Kaschit Dukha Bhag Bhabet - Let none experience the sorrow. The poet humble offering this prayer at the lotus feet of Lord Jagannath. Connect with me - Facebook - / anandi.twinkle Instagram - / purnatamohanty Gmail - [email protected]
