The Poet’s Wife Rose Review 2025 – Watch Before You Choose a Yellow Rose! 🌹💛

Welcome back to the Rose Room! Today I’m sharing my review of The Poet’s Wife — a gorgeous 2014 David Austin introduction that I planted here in June 2023. Two years on, this beauty has absolutely taken me by surprise. It’s already reached around 4½ feet tall (well above the expected size!) and is loving this corner of the garden. The colour is exactly the shade of yellow I adore — bright and joyful without being brash — and the scent is incredible: a rich fragrance with a lemony sparkle that becomes sweeter the longer the bloom sits on the plant. I’m genuinely thrilled with how this rose has settled in, and I honestly can’t wait to see what she does in 2026… I’ve got a feeling she’s going to be even more spectacular! 🌼✨ Have you grown The Poet’s Wife before?
