Tibetan medicine possesses an immensely rich and vibrant history of visual and educational representation. This talk presents the concept for a collaborative project to transform traditional tree-metaphors for the second part of the Rgyud-bzhi, the core compendium of Tibetan medicine, into a large-scale, three-dimensional textile installation created through a community-based ‘crowd-knitting’ event.
