After graduating Virginia Military Institute, he came back to Korea and enlisted in the Korean UDT/SEAL team. He spent 8 years operating in Korean UDT/SEAL and honorably discharged in 2014. After he left the military, he did various field operations. In 2020, he appeared in ‘Fake Men (가짜사나이)’ program in Korea as an instructor and after the show aired via YouTube, he gained huge popularity amongst Koreans. Even his famous meme, “Do you have an attitude problem” became so popular that BTS’ RM even used his meme! Korea Now met with Ken Rhee and talked about his life story.
