"Jesus' Healing of the Blind Man (Part 1)" - John 9:1-7 (9.11.22) - Dr. Jordan N. Rogers
Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching verse-by-verse through The Gospel of John in this sermon from John 9:1-7 entitled, “Jesus’ Healing of the Blind Man (Part 1).” John’s purpose in John 9:1-41 was to record the sign Jesus performed in Jerusalem after the Feast of Booths, when He healed the man who was blind from birth and the aftermath where the Jews interrogated the man and his family as to the legitimacy of the healing and the One who healed Him. In vs.1-7, John’s purpose is to record the sign, where Jesus heals the man born blind, and by doing so Jesus put on display to aspects of God’s glory: the power and the personal application of His grace. The following is a sermon on John 9:1-7, and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
