The JR Soya Main Line, connecting Asahikawa and Wakkanai, is a popular line for its northernmost railway line, and it offers some incredible local trains every day. The 2:59 PM local train bound for Wakkanai (Kiha 54) from Nayoro makes a 57-minute stop at Otoineppu, almost an hour. This long stop is known among train enthusiasts as a "baka-te" (idiot stop), and it's the king of all "baka-te" (idiot stops). What should I do to pass the time? I'll introduce it in the video.
