Life began to change when the children were in their late teens, the man of the house, their father, passed away, a devastating loss for this close knit family. A few years later, the children moved to Brazil together to seek out better job opportunities, leaving their mother to live here alone. Their mother is shown enjoying time with her grandchildren, now in old age.
