3 Joe Bonamassa Licks From 2019

Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with the second half of the two-part series featuring some tasty licks being passed around between Eric Gales and Joe Bonamassa. These two phenomenal players were featured on the "Keeping Blues Alive Cruise" earlier this month (August 2019). The second half of this series features Joe stepping up to the guitar solo plate after Eric Gales already laid down some killer licks and set the mood of the entire jam. Joe doesn't waste any time getting his ideas out and he's off to the races as soon as he begins playing. The ideas in this lesson feature an interesting pentatonic-based speed licks, rapid-fire legato runs, a Phrygian Dominant lick that seems to answer some of Eric's ideas from the first part of this live footage, and much more.
