Maroc : des fossiles de 773 000 ans éclairent les origines d’Homo sapiens | Interview de JJ Hublin

Hominin fossils unearthed in a quarry near Casablanca have just been dated with unprecedented precision: 773,000 years ago. These remains, analyzed by paleoanthropologist Jean-Jacques Hublin and an international team, could well belong to the common ancestor of modern humans, Neanderthals, and Denisovans. An early African lineage, the very origin of Homo sapiens? A discovery recounted by Jean-Jacques Hublin, professor at the Collège de France.
