LA MARCIA SU ROMA - Clip Sbarramento strada di accesso a Roma | Filmauro

The March on Rome is a 1962 film directed by Dino Risi, starring Vittorio Gassman and Ugo Tognazzi. In the post-World War I years, a veteran living by his wits, Domenico Rocchetti, meets one of his captains who invites him to join the fascist movement. During a brawl in a rural village, Rocchetti asks for help from his former comrade, Umberto Gavazza. But the latter's brother-in-law, a fervent anti-fascist, kicks them both out. Due to a new brawl over wanting to replace striking street cleaners, they are imprisoned and then freed by a determined action by the fascist squads. After participating in several "punitive actions," Rocchetti and Gavazza also prepare for the March on Rome. They requisition a car to join their comrades, but are disowned because the owner is a supporter of the fascist movement. Following a skirmish, they disappear just outside Rome.
