Planning a trip to Ubud, Bali? In this travel vlog, I’m taking you through some of the best things to do in Ubud, from sacred temples and jungle walks to muddy ATV rides, waterfalls, rice terraces, silver jewelry workshops, monkeys with criminal tendencies, and a few classic “this is so Bali” moments. Ubud is one of the most popular places to visit in Bali, and yes, some spots are touristy, but there is a reason people keep coming back. It has culture, nature, adventure, chaos, beauty, and that deep green jungle feeling Bali does so well. In this vlog, we visit the Sacred Monkey Forest, where the monkeys are cute but absolutely not to be trusted with your sunglasses. We also explore Tirta Empul Temple, one of Bali’s most famous holy water temples, and stop by Saraswati Temple, a beautiful temple in central Ubud known for its lotus pond and traditional Balinese architecture. For adventure, we go white water rafting in Ubud and take on an ATV ride through jungle trails, mud tracks, rice fields, rivers, and villages. We also walk the peaceful Campuhan Ridge Walk, visit the famous Tegallalang Rice Terraces, check out the Bali swing photo spots, and escape to Manuaba Waterfall, a quieter waterfall near Ubud. One of my personal favorite activities was learning how to make my own silver jewelry in Ubud, which is such a cool hands-on experience, especially for creatives. We also learned how to make a traditional Balinese offering, went shopping at the Ubud Art Market, and did a relaxed coffee and tea tasting.
