Adrian Alexander almost drove past the billboard—now his gym is the only Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu training center in Amsterdam. A South African transplant, Adrian found Gracie Jiu-Jitsu on an aimless drive in Cape Town, moved to Amsterdam, and discovered the city had no Gracie school. So he joined the Gracie University Instructor Certification Program, reserved the territory, and opened the country's first Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Centre—growing from three classes a week to fourteen, serving around a hundred members.
