He is also the host of a live videocast, Nimdzi Live and frequent guest host on The VennDiagram with Michael Reid. Danielle Meder is the Senior Director of Interpretation, Vendor Management, and Quality at United Language Group. She is a nationally certified American Sign Language interpreter with over 15 years experience; most of which have been in remote healthcare environments. Danielle is a licensed trainer of The Community Interpreter International from Cross Cultural Communications and is currently coauthoring a textbook on remote interpreting for CCC. She is passionate about advocating for quality and effective language access, communicative autonomy and the advancement of interpreter training. Shawn Vriezen is a native Minnesotan involved in a myriad of interests, including filming, acting, and volunteering with various organizations and boards. Shawn has been interpreting professionally since 2008, is one of nine Certified Deaf Interpreters in his home state, and has worked full-time as a medical interpreter in video remote settings since 2017. When available, Shawn contracts to provide interpreting services for his local community. He has co-presented several workshops at the biannual Deaf Interpreter Conference held in Oregon in 2019. In addition to his CDI certification, Shawn is certified as a Qualified Mental Health Interpreter (QMHI), and is one of four CDIs holding both certifications in the US.
