Oregon Coast, Thors Well, Neptune Beach and Bullards Beach State Park

Saturday at The Central Oregon Coast... Can we go to the beach tomorrow? The kids said... We began our journey in Corvallis Oregon, heading west to the town of Waldport where we met the Pacific Ocean. Our first stop was just south of the town Yachats, an Oregon Coast icon, Thor's Well. With roadside parking and a short path leading to the rocky beach, it is a must see. And just like that a short 5-minute drive down the coastline we arrived at Neptune Beach State Park. Cummins Creek flows onto the beach littered with rocky spines and tide pools to be discovered. Near the mildly iconic U.S. 101 bridge you can find a secret waterfall. Then we headed south to have lunch with some friends in Coos Bay. After that we had to get some ice cream at Face Rock Creamery in Bandon, a small cheese factory with Umpqua ice cream which is a great stop. A quick trip north across the Coquille River brought us to Bullards Beach State Park. After a few miles of driving in the park you can reach the lighthouse and take a stroll out on the jetty. This was our journey all in a day. #oregon #coast #beach #westcoast #ocean #pacific #thingstodo #beautiful #nature #pnw #oregoncoast #placestovisit #cool ##family #explore #exploremore #explorepage #adventure l Music from Uppbeat (free for Creators!): https://uppbeat.io/t/zimpzon/calm License code: AN7CJXTC3CV9VOC2
