INTERVIEW WITH RON NEVISON - (PHYSICAL GRAFFITI RECORDING ENGINEER)
It was a great honor to have the opportunity to chat with Ron Nevison, legendary recording engineer and album producer who's long list of credits is truly amazing. The Who, Zep, Heart, UFO, Starship, Bad Company, Chicago etc, etc!! 😮 Ron recorded the new tracks for Physical Graffiti in Jan/Feb of 1974 at Headley Grange, however he had a prior contract to do the Who's Tommy Soundtrack. Because PG was running behind he had to leave the project, and engineer Keith Harwood finished up the final bits, overdubs. In the interview, Ron talks a bit about his early days as a sound engineer for live acts, and his transition to the studio scene in London. We talked quite a bit about the recording of Physical Graffiti, and specifically about recording Bonzo! Hope you all enjoy! Thanks for watching and please subscribe !
