Summer brings a lot of energy to Hungary. People. love to do outdoor activities after several months of dark winter. Hungarians are very physically active and thus there are many leisure activities made available in summer for the city residents. Kayaking is definitely one of the most popular summer leisure activities in Budapest. Hungarians usually have their own kayaks here as it is a common activity every summer. If you don't have kayaks, worry not, there are several rental shops in Budapest which will easily allow enjoying this sport. Most of these kayak rental shops are located in the Romai part of Budapest. If you are strong enough you can make it to Szentendre even :). Pro tip: -Make sure to get a waterproof bag to protect your essential devices and wallets. -Take minimal stuff with yourself when in Kayak. -Avoid using sunglasses as they may drop off in the river like I lost mine on this trip :( 100% recommended trip, and I aiming to make it to Szentendre next time. let me know where would you like me to visit next, in the comments below.
