Beautiful Borjomi - Georgian spa town

Borjomi is a beautiful town in central Georgia. It’s most famous for its natural mineral springs, producing the lightly sparkling water which made the town famous. Borjomi water is Georgia’s biggest export and is now exported to 40 countries. You can taste the water straight from the source. Just head to Borjomi Central Park. The town remains a popular tourist destination. It’s surrounded by mountains and forests and is popular in the summer and in the winter. The nearby ski resort of Bakuriani is also worth a visit. You can take a scenic train journey through the mountains from Borjomi to Bakuriani. Unfortunately it was closed for renovation when we were there but we hope to go back and do it one winter.
