Mushroom hunting in Italy! We're currently exploring Piedmont and Liguria, and we're finding some truly amazing mushrooms. From chanterelles and false crocodile mushrooms to reishi, there's a wide variety. Fascinating wild plants like the mastic tree also grow along the paths. Here in Italy, the habitats are completely different from those in Germany, which makes discovering nature particularly exciting. Of course, you should be extra careful, as it's much easier to mistake mushrooms for poisonous species in unfamiliar places. Enjoy mushroom season with us in the Mediterranean forests of the Ligurian coast and the sweet chestnut forests of Piedmont.
