"it's a small world" Disneyland Scandinavian Band 20 minute loop (1966-93, 2003-present)

This is a 20 minute loop of the original and current version of the Scandinavian Band audio from it's a small world at Disneyland. This audio originated at the New York World's Fair 60 years ago in April 1964 thru Oct 1965. In 1966 the ride found a permanent home at Disneyland, California, where it remains today. It has also played at Hong Kong Disneyland since 2008, but this video focuses on Disneyland. It was removed from Disneyland between 1993 and 2003, and has been restored & remastered since then. The soundtrack was replaced entirely with the Paris version from 1993-2003. Most of the classic props have been here since 1964. The singers and the band had different movements until 1972 when they were reprogrammed. The bouncing dancers on the platform were changed to be a lot slower around fall 1981. The motion of the spinning boy ice skater has been changed several times over the years: 1981, 1992, 1998, 2000, & 2012. The lighting has also changed somewhat over time. In this ride, Alice Davis made the costumes, which represent traditional Scandinavian clothing, and her husband Marc Davis created the reindeer. Mary Blair designed these scenes in her art style. The many rotating pictures are shown in chronological order from 1966-1987, followed by 2022-2024. All before 2022 were found at various internet sources. The 2022-2024 pictures were all shot by me.
