1956 Magnavox Magnasonic 420 Console Phonograph Repair & FULL CATALOG!
In this video we'll do some much needed service maintenance on an otherwise pristine vintage 1950s Magnavox Model CP291C, also just called the "Model 291", Console Record Changer. These mid-50s models featured Collaro Imperial changers, Made in Great Britain, with "Pianissimo" pick-up and a dual diamond or sapphire stylus. This example also came with all the original paperwork and a full 1956 Magnavox Catalog, which we will peruse in detail! At the end of this video, for good measure, we will also plug a guitar into the quad 6V6-powered 20W tube amp and see what it sounds like as a guitar amp!
