Vice President JD Vance said the U.S. started easing military restrictions on shipping to Iran as part of a newly announced agreement aimed at ending the conflict, allowing more than a dozen vessels to reach Iranian ports. Vance said the U.S. Navy had permitted ships to transit to Iranian ports and cited increased traffic through the Strait of Hormuz as evidence that the agreement is already producing results.
