Little Germany: A Historic Bradford District
Unlike the places featured in the previous talks in this collection, Little Germany didn't start out as a neighbourhood but was instead a commercial district in Bradford. It later became a residential district during the early 21st Century with the promotion of city centre living. Delivered by Jonathan Crewdson, this talk looks at the origins of the Little Germany area, its development and eventual decline, and its regeneration in modern times into a mixed residential and commercial district. This is the last of the lectures on the history of Bradford City Centre. It also features a brief overview of the other lost neighbourhoods that were otherwise not covered by these talks at the end of the video.
