This in an excerpt from Johnny Mathis' 50th Anniversary Concert. "Let Go!" is a Brazillian song, "Canto de Ossanha", which was popularised by Astrud Gilberto in the early 1970s. The music was written by Baden Powell and original Portuguese lyrics written by Vinicius de Moraes; English lyrics were written by Norman Gimbel. I love the message of this song and was unable to find a recording of Johnny singing it on any album, so I wanted to share it with you all, too. Love & Light!
