📢 Exciting news from the Western Balkans – Karavasta, the region's largest power plant, is now up and running, and ready to generate green energy! This massive complex is decked out with 240,000 facial panels neatly arranged on 3,800 trackers and 18 transformer centers. Making it all possible is the Karavasta Step Up substation, technology that turns the PV plant's 30-kilovolt output into a 220-kilovolt supply. This energy journey spans 20 kilometers, supported by 56 towers, concluding at the substation. Here, an electrical bay integrates into the 220-kilovolt grid network, powering up Karavasta for sustainable energy generation.
