4:11, 5:00 Kosciuszko & his school in Warsaw , 5:46 Pulaski & his school Yesterday, America celebrated its 250th anniversary. It is worth remembering that before the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the fate of the United States rested not only in the brilliant minds of the Founding Fathers such as John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin, but also in the hands and strategic mind of an exceptional military leader — General George Washington, his intelligence network known as the Culper Spy Ring, and the Continental Army. The idea of independence always resonated deeply in Polish hearts. Among the remarkable figures who fought alongside General George Washington were two Poles. The first was Tadeusz Kościuszko 5:00, born in 1746 on his family estate in Mereczowszczyzna (after 1945 ZSRR, and is now in Belarus). Kościuszko studied at the Cadet Corps School in Warsaw 4:11 , where he also received training in engineering. Tadeusz Kosciuszko played a crucial role in designing super fortifications and strengthening the American defense system during the Revolutionary War also around Hudson River and West Point. West Point Military School was established by Thomas Jefferson in 1802 but I personally think that this idea came from Kosciuszko who not only knew Jefferson but made Thomas Jefferson act as his testament guardian. Kosciuszko who gained rank of general from gen.George Washington also was rewarded 250 acres of land in USA with slaves. Kosciuszko freed ,,his'' slaves and came back to Poland. Ge, Tadeusz Kosciuszko is known in USA as founding father of West Point . The second famous Pole fighting for American Independence was Kazimierz Pułaski 5:48, born in 1745 in Warsaw. He was educated at the Theatine School in Warsaw 5:18 on Długa Street. Pułaski joined the American Revolutionary cause and became a skilled cavalry commander. In 1777 in Battle of Brandywine his tactical skills and bravery prevented the capture or even death of George Washington and averted the total annihilation of the Continental Army. For that he was awarded .Gen Pulaski fought bravely at the Battle of Savannah in 1779, where he was mortally wounded while taking fatal blow intended for gen. George Washington.Pulaski died of complications related to the wound. He is remembered as a hero who gave his life for George Washington and American independence. He is also known as "Father of the American Cavalry".He was using his own money to established in Continental Army his own Pulaski Calvary Regiment!Apparently he also refused Congress to pay him in form of 450 acres of land in Cox County Chicago or papers were not found after his death in 1779. He was only 34 years old. 2:49 The First modern time constitution in Europe was created in Warsaw and proclaimed by Polish King in 1791, Król Stanisław August Poniatowski po jej uchwaleniu wyruszył z Zamku Królewskiego do dzisiejszej Archikatedry św. Jana Chrzciciela, aby uroczyście złożyć przysięgę na nową konstytucję.( Tak to sobie wyobraził Jan Matejko)
