Detached Youth Work - a film by TDC
Detached Youth Work is about reaching young people in the places they hang out - bringing youth work to them rather than the other way round. This film gives an insight into detached youth work in Brighton by TDC and our partners. The detached youth work depicted in this film is couched in a violence-reduction paradigm. Please note that not all detached youth work has a violence reduction agenda, and that young people deserve high-quality, engaging, community-based services without external agendas too. Made by Big Egg Films. With many thanks to Audio Active for the additional footage.
