Questa bellissima canzone è parte del patrimonio culturale e musicale che ci hanno lasciato i Sefarditi, antichi ebrei che popolavano la Spagna, popolo perseguitato ai tempi dell'inquisizione spagnola e dispersosi in tutto il mondo. E' una canzone cantata nei matrimoni Sefarditi ancora oggi, dalla melodia antica che richiama le origini di questo singolare popolo, la lingua è il Ladino Sefardita, un misto tra spagnolo, ebraico e altre lingue, nel testo cantato ho incluso volutamente un inciso in lingua ebraica. Per me è stata una grande emozione interpretare questo brano così antico, soave, dai vocalizzi e richiami intensi, difficile cantare in lingua diversa e particolare ed esserne all'altezza è complicato, mi scuso in anticipo per gli errori di dizione.
