Thank you for watching. On April 12, 2026, I climbed Mt. Bōnoori in Hannō City, Saitama Prefecture. I used the Sawarabi no Yu parking lot (free). There are clean flush toilets there. Mt. Bōnoori is a very varied mountain with chain sections, stream climbing, and steep ascents, so it never bores hikers. And at this time of year in April, many people climb the mountain to see the single cherry tree at the summit. As of April 12th, the single cherry tree at the summit is about 20-30% in bloom. The best time to see it will probably be next week (April 18th (Sat) and 19th (Sun)).
