Looking for the perfect campsite at Hampshire Rocks Campground? In this video, we take a walk through the entire campground to give you an up-close look at nearly every single campsite available, helping you pick the best spot for your next trip. Because this campground is located right off Interstate 80, there are a few unique factors to keep in mind when booking. We make sure to point out the layout so you can see exactly what to expect: 🚗 Freeway Noise & Visibility: The campground is very close to Highway 80. From several of the sites, you can see the cars passing by, and the traffic noise can be distracting for some campers. 🚂 Train Activity: A train route runs nearby and goes by often, which can be quite loud. 🌊 Riverfront Sites: On the plus side, several beautiful campsites sit right on the edge of the river, offering great views and the relaxing sound of rushing water to help drown out the road noise. Please note: This footage was captured one month before the official season opening. You will notice some winter debris and maintenance prep still underway (including Campsite #21, which was completely buried in debris and skipped for this tour), but it gives you a great, unobstructed look at the privacy, size, and layout of the sites.
