Super Easy & Moist Chocolate Loaf Cake – No Mixer Needed!

It’s moist, easy to make, and full of deep cocoa flavor, great for a cozy treat or to impress guests with minimal effort. Let’s get started! Ingredients (Chocolate Loaf Cake): 2 large eggs, room temperature 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 150 grams granulated sugar (about 3/4 cup) 113 grams unsalted butter, melted and cooled (about 1/2 cup) 120 ml milk, room temperature (about 1/2 cup) 150 grams all-purpose flour (about 1¼ cups) 30 grams cocoa powder (about 1/4 cup) 1½ tsp baking powder (about 6 grams) 1/4 tsp salt 40 ml hot water (about 3 tbsp) Chocolate chips (optional) Cake Pan Size: 22 x 13 x 7 cm (9 x 5 inch) loaf pan Baking Time: Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45–50 minutes Prepare the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 eggs and 150 grams of sugar until light and fluffy. Add 1/2 tsp vanilla, 120 ml of milk, and the melted butter. Mix until smooth. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir gently to combine. Pour the hot water into the batter and mix until smooth and glossy Bake the Cake: Grease or line your loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. (Optional) Fold in some chocolate chips for extra richness. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve this moist chocolate loaf on its own or with a scoop of ice cream.
