I saw staff inspecting the area around the train just now. According to Kintetsu, a four-car local train bound for Kashihara-jingumae, departing Kyoto at 5:12 AM, derailed within the Kyoto Station premises. There were approximately 10 passengers on board at the time, but so far there are no injuries. Staff have guided the passengers back to Kyoto Station. The cause of the derailment is currently unknown and is "under investigation."
