DEFESA CIVIL ATUALIZA SITUAÇÃO DAS CHUVAS NA AMUREL

The Civil Defense of Amurel reported that the rainfall situation in the region is considered calm, but remains under monitoring. In an interview with Rádio Cidade, regional coordinator Jefferson da Silva explained that, in the last 24 hours, the basin recorded approximately 50 mm of rain, while Tubarão had approximately 67 mm and Braço do Norte reached 51.7 mm. According to him, the alert threshold for the Tubarão River begins around 150 mm accumulated in 48 hours, an index still far from that recorded so far. No municipality in Amurel reported any incidents related to the rains. The forecast indicates another 40 to 50 mm throughout the day, with a reduction in rainfall between late afternoon, evening and dawn, and a tendency for dry weather the following day. Jefferson also highlighted the real-time monitoring of meteorological stations, warned of rough seas and advised the population to register for the Civil Defense SMS service to receive warnings about heavy rain, winds and hail.
