[Professional Stage Photography Talk] Honest Thoughts After 11 Hours of Ballet Photography | The Future of Three NIKKOR Z F1.2 S Prime Lenses and the Z 120-300mm F2.8 TC VR S This is the first part of our drive-through talk after a shoot. Naoko and I were on our way home after a roughly 11-hour ballet stage shoot, from 10:15 AM to around 9 PM. We'll discuss the equipment and shooting experience we had on set, something we can only talk about right after such a long shoot. The lenses used for this stage shoot were three NIKKOR Z F1.2 S prime lenses: NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.2 S How did we choose which lens to use in the limited light of a ballet stage? We'll talk about the image quality, AF performance, and the unique expressive capabilities of the F1.2 lenses that we experienced on set. And once again, Naoko had a comment. "I can't live without the Z 85mm f/1.2 S (laughs)." What is it about the 85mm F1.2 that has captivated her so much?
