Focus MK3 Front Spring replacement - also Focus MK2 Volvo S40 V50 C30

When I was replacing the front brakes on my wife's Focus Mk3, I noticed that the bottom of both front spring have snapped. A common thing these days, but it can be done on your driveway with a few tools. Ford quoted me early £500 to replace both, but I've done it for just under £100 and using original Ford front coil springs. Please be very careful when dealing with springs as they can be dangerous if not handled properly with proper safety gear, conditions and tools. Additional notes: I could not find the torque settings for the top nuts, so tight them properly, but not too tight; Pinch bolt that goes through the steering knuckle colar is 66Nm. Don't forget to use thread lock too; Once the wheels are back in, let the car sit on the floor with its full weight and then tight the nut of the suspension shaft. Mine didn't need any more tightening, but check just to be kn the safe side.
