Riversleigh Fossil Dreaming - Waanyi on Country

Several Waanyi People made a site visit to Boodjamulla National Park and the World Heritage fossil site of Riversleigh on July 28-29, 2023 to share their stories and their knowledge for themselves and for the younger generation and connect with Country. This project was made available through funding from Australian Heritage Grants. In the spirit of reconciliation Everick Foundation acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connection to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We also pay our respects to the Waanyi People whose country is shown in this presentation.
