Setbacks Happen: I broke my Leica SOFORT 2 100 years of Leica Edition

I left my Leica SOFORT 2 outside overnight on the one day I had turned the sprinklers on. By the time I found it, the camera was sitting in a pool of water and would no longer turn on. It was especially frustrating because it was the 100 Years of Leica edition, I had only owned it for a couple of weeks, and it had quickly become one of my favorite cameras. I had also planned to use it at two upcoming shoots. But after the initial disappointment, I had to put the situation into perspective. The camera could be replaced. The photographs on the microSD card were safe. Most importantly, the memories behind those photographs still happened. This episode is about setbacks, learning from expensive mistakes, and not allowing something replaceable to take away your peace.
