I've turned my daily note series, "AITAIWA (Conversation with AI)," into a video. This episode's theme: "Bricolage the Game of Life." On Wednesday mornings, the middle of the week, are you frozen in place, thinking, "I tried the trendy morning routine, but I'm too sleepy during the day and can't stick with it," or "I'm trying to imitate the success habits of influencers, but I'm not seeing any results and I'm getting anxious"? In her book, "People Die So Quickly," data scientist Mai Sato explains the dangers of blindly copying others' routines, ignoring the "commonality" and "differences" inherent in humans as biological beings. Our brains have a simple habit of automatically activating a dopamine drive (a system of overheating and obsession) when presented with easy-to-understand success formulas, and trying to achieve high scores accordingly. However, extreme imitation that ignores the internal clock (chronotype) and metabolic system of the body, which are determined at the genetic level, only leads to serious errors in both body and mind. As psychologist Alfred Adler deduced from his observations of circus trapeze artists, true strength lies not in "innate perfection," but in the process of "how to correct and optimize one's unique weaknesses and characteristics (differences) to suit one's own needs." Let's quickly put an end to the brain-dead reaction of mindlessly tracing mass-produced templates imposed by society and trying to become a replaceable "mass-produced Zaku." What's needed is the intelligence to cherish your unique hand of cards and strengths and weaknesses as cold, hard facts, and to assemble your own personalized strategies through on-the-spot ingenuity—in other words, "bricolage" (a collection of wisdom). If the initial settings of the game don't suit you, simply redesign the rules to a custom specification that allows you to operate with the least stress and highest output for the clearest results. We offer survival strategies for gracefully navigating modern society, smartly leaving behind the absurd rules of mass production, and proudly holding onto the frequency of a custom machine that perfectly fits your own mind and body.
