“Sandy Bay Day 3 – New Direction!”

Day 3 began with a cool, gentle breeze across Sandy Bay as the four of us set off in the opposite direction from yesterday’s walk. The beach looked untouched, the sand smooth and bright under the morning light, and the ocean rolling in with that calm Wilson’s Prom rhythm. Walking as a group of four brought a nice balance — quiet stretches, shared laughs, and moments where we all paused to take in the changing colours of the coastline. From this direction, the views opened up differently, revealing new angles of the hills and long curves of the bay. It was an easy, refreshing 8 km walk, filled with good company, peaceful nature, and the simple joy of exploring Sandy Bay from a new perspective.
