RIDERS REVIEW | Foil Drive Mini Pod vs Universal Mast Adapter | Worth the upgrade?

Putting Foil Drives new Universal Mini Pod to the test! Being granted early access to the new Mini Pod allowed me to deep dive into the performance of the new universal mast adapter, inside and outside of the water. The tool less construction makes it a breeze to set up and the smaller footprint takes riding performance to the next level. Over a period of several month I have tested the new adapter on various masts and in different set ups and riding conditions. I even set up two identical masts, one using the new Mini Pod and one equipped with the old design to really compare them back to back. The result is truly amazing: Set up is so much quicker and for the first time I would honestly consider to swap gear right on the spot without hesitation. In the water all axis, pitch, yaw and roll benefit from the smaller footprint, resulting in an overall much more agile system. Foil Drives new Universal Mini Pod truly lives up to all its promises and won me over completely. I can honestly recommend it to anyway who is locking for an easier set up and drastically reducing swapping time, with a noticeable boots in performance in the water. This will be my new go to for sure.
