MAINE FISHING CHALLENGE : 1HR Canoe vs Waders

Fishing in early-mid December? WHY NOT! Today I decided to TEST the CANOE against the WADERS with an hour of fishing in EACH! I was curious to see see which would come out on top! With the canoe I could get to more areas of the lake faster, but wind proved to be a problem. I wondered if less time spent paddling and more time fishing in the waders would amount to more fish or if my wading would spook them. While the weather was more or less cooperative, the wind did make positioning ourselves in the canoe a bit of an up hill battle. NONE THE LESS, I battled the cold and put up with numb hands in order to net a couple of healthy fish. The trout were breaking the surface left and right as the sun was setting, unfortunately an empty stomach and work beckoned.
