Shopping in the AB SUPERMARKET In Greece - Kranidi - Peleponnese - Cost of Living in Greece
Living in Greece - Tanya has sent me to the shop to buy some noodles. Our closest supermarket Lidl doesn't stock them so I have to go to the supermarket in town to get them. On the way, I chat about the cost of living in Greece and shopping in the supermarket. there is less choice of imported goods in Greece and sometimes this can be frustrating. Luckily you can find most things if you hunt around for them but it does take some time to get to know what shops sell what things. So here I show you our local AB store. It has a good variety of foodstuffs at fairly reasonable prices. The quality is also a little better than that of Lidl. You can see the prices of some of the staple foods and this will help you see the cost of living here in Greece. Tanya and I have bought a small house in Greece and are living in Greece and renovating the house ourselves. The costs discussed are our experiences of the cost of living here. They may vary from town to town or region to region. During the video, we talk about a number of daily items like fruit, veg, bread, beer and milk. See the chapters below for a list.
